This installations shows 4 of the well known pigeon symbols. It consists of 3 parts, made from heavy-looking stone-like material: Top and bottom parts are "wings", that open up a little to let the middle part rotate. By rotating the image on the middle part changes, so different pigeon symbols are formed.

As you look closer, you will notice that the middle part of the symbol has been drawn (with “real” color), while the upper and lower parts are projected by an LCD projector. This makes the project a reversal of the usual (rather boring) setting: the virtual part, which comes from the computer, is fixed in our case and does not move at any time. For once, its the “real” part, that is moving and changing.
